Call Signalling
Configuring and Operating Function Key for Call Signalling by Flashing Display Backlight

Using the Telephone to Switch Call Signalling by Flashing Display Backlight On/Off
1. Press the menu key and open the menu functions > call signal/light.
2. Select one of the following options:
Configuring and Operating Function Key for Call Signalling by Flashing Display
Backlight
Press the key while in the telephone's idle state to switch call signalling by the flashing display
backlight on or off or to switch it over.
In addition, when functions are defined on the first key level, the status of the function is
indicated by the corresponding LED.
The configuration can be carried out as follows:
• Using COMfortel Set
• Using the telephone
Using COMfortel Set to Configure the Function Key for Call Signalling by Flashing
Display Backlight
1. Open the page Function keys > Assign function keys.
Enables call signalling by a flashing display backlight.
Disables call signalling by a flashing display backlight.
switch on: Enables call signalling by a flashing display backlight.
switch off: Disables call signalling by a flashing display backlight.
LED signalling on the key:
Off Call signalling by a flashing display backlight is disabled.
Red Call signalling by a flashing display backlight is enabled.
