SMS messaging via a landline

Step 4: Registering the device with a messaging centre

If registration fails, please check that CLIP is working and that the SMS number is transmitted

correctly.

If you no longer wish to use the SMS function of your Voicemail Center 461.2, you need to

notify the messaging centre. To cancel your registration, send a text message with "ABMELD"

to the number "8888". Any text messages sent to your landline number will then be read to

you as voice messages. You will no longer be able to send text messages from your landline.

Use the Control buttons (up/down) to

browse to option Dispatch and press the

Softkey to the right of option Dispatch.

The cursor below recipient

flashes.



Press the Control buttons (up/down) several

times to enter the first digit of the recipient's

number.



Press the Control button (right) to move to

the next digit.

To make corrections:

Press the Control button (left) to move the

cursor to the left.

Press the

x Softkey to delete the digit you

have selected.



Enter the second, third and fourth digits of the

recipient's number as described above.

Press the Softkey to the right of option Recip-

ient to complete your entry.

The cursor stops flashing.

Press the Softkey to the right of option Send

to send the message.

After a brief interval, the display

shows "Message (SMS) sent".

Press the Stop key several times to return to

the Idle menu.

After a few minutes, you

receive a text message as con-

firmation. This shows the SMS

number as text message recipi-

ent.
